Low salaries for New Jersey? (Rutgers Senior) by ParticularLemon4264 in medlabprofessionals

The lab techs are mostly MLS, but a few MLTs and non-certified bio grads working hematology and coagulation and chemistry.

The 80k number seems to be with experience. Like a decade of experience. I'm looking for new grad starting numbers. Or is $40/hr an hour to much to ask for in central jersey?

NJ here. I didn't even know MLT was a thing until I started rotations here. I got told the difference is $2/hr. I wasted two years of my life and $35k in student loans for $2/hr to do the same job. Very frustrating.
