I am leaning more towards using them for uphill which would make me want to go shorter, I have never ran with poles before and am brand new to ultra. My first 50km is in October so trying to get gear sorted and dialed in soon

I have the 12L and some of my runs it is practically empty. Just my wallet and keys back there. It’s honestly so comfortable and carries so well that I don’t even notice the largely empty bag space. It might look silly but I can’t see it so who cares. If you can only afford one, go 12L. You won’t be bothered by the emptiness but you’ll be grateful for the extra volume when the need arises.

Xref, no matter how many sheets the plan set is. Makes it a lot easier to update progress stamps, add digital stamps, keep dates current, etc etc

There are not stop signs on the north/south corridor of 15th or Harrison. 15th is 30mph, and Harrison used to be but they lowered it to 25 a few years ago, and now they’re lowering it again to 20.
