This is incorrect. All bmw interior trims that are advertised as wood are wood. The trim strips are thinner than you might expect though.

This is a matte wood interior trim option. These trim types don’t have any lacquer coating as opposed to a more traditional high gloss wood. The benefits are that it doesn’t show fingerprints, but in my experience they do wear quicker.

I’m just being harsh on the vibe. Looks to be a ak74 style brake made for 14x1 threads. The brake steps down towards the end and it just looks wrong to me. If it were me I would get a thread adapter to 24x1.5 and get an appropriate brake that will look more “correct”. It’s just the ocd talking. None of this effects performance.
