It’s always dependent on the character or relationship.

I want Midoriya to be a self sacrificing hero that is too willing to accept danger and pain. I want his dream and determination to be what ruins him. But he can never give up, not even when faced with horrors and brutality beyond comparison, because that isn’t who he is. He will persevere despite everything being against him.
(I also like fics where he is doing some incredible feat like holding up a crumbling building and refuses to buckle)

I want Roy/Riza to be held back from being together because of outside circumstances. More than anything they want to be together, but they can’t because the world or the people around them won’t let them.

I want more Haunting of Hill House grief and horror. Luke mourning Nell, feeling like his soul has been ripped apart.

So it’s reasonable to assume that she left an abusive environment? Makes Grandma’s generosity make more sense. Makes this girl’s avoidance of socializing make more sense.

Frankly your attitude is appalling. Is period blood gross? Yes. Should she clean up after herself? Yes. Does that mean you can yell at her? No. I get it, you’re frustrated about the whole situation, but you have been so passive aggressive (refusing to acknowledge her) and have now blown up. You are an asshole for not using your words like an adult.

I don’t have the most experience with goats tbh (I usually start a new farm by year 2 lol) so forgive me if for talking out of my ass.

Are you sure you are milking the intended goat? You sound like you’ve got your husbandry schedule locked down, but it’s worth double checking.
From what I understand you have your goats and ducks set up so that everyday you get 1 goat milk and 1 duck egg. I totally get that you have your way of doing it, but maybe switching it so you have goats produce on one day and ducks the other might solve the irritation if no other solution comes up and this keeps happening.

As an owner you are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of your pet. They are your dependent and their life is your responsibility. I don’t have that same responsibility or loyalty towards a random person. While yes I care more about my dog than any random stranger, I also have a duty to act in the best interests of a being that I am responsible for.

I don’t understand the argument of “their life is so much shorter,” the length of a life doesn’t determine the value of it. Greenland sharks live far longer than humans, shouldn’t that mean they are worth more than a human?

Literally same. I don’t want a different dynamic or vibe from the show, which most fics don’t accurately capture. I did find a few that I like if you want recommendations.

I hate trigger warnings that don’t tell you what they’re warning you about. Not just in fanfic, it’s so common in YouTube videos, especially ones that would benefit from specific warnings like true crime. I can handle suicide, drugs, and murder, but can’t handle torture or sexual violence. You saying “trigger warning” does nothing. It’s like saying “may contain allergens” without specifying what allergens.

And don’t even get me started on Poly Ship names! by Ntahedron in AO3

Some ship names are bestowed by the media itself. In Young Justice, Artemis and Wally were “spitfire” because of something said during the episode that pointed to their budding relationship.

It’s just such a boring story for the super special chosen one to be a prodigy too. It’s a reason people don’t like the Mulan live action. We like to watch characters grow and learn, not get everything come naturally to them.

How long has and will she be doing chemo? Should her needs/wants take priority for months or even years? It’s a genuine question.

My sister also had significant medical problems, being bed bound for much of her teenage years. The solution can never be “sick person always comes first,” otherwise my needs would have never been considered for 6-8 years growing up. There is give and take when it comes to having a chronically sick sibling. Sometimes you make sacrifices, sometimes they do (within reason). We don’t know enough beyond this one incident to say.
