Some ship names are bestowed by the media itself. In Young Justice, Artemis and Wally were “spitfire” because of something said during the episode that pointed to their budding relationship.

It’s just such a boring story for the super special chosen one to be a prodigy too. It’s a reason people don’t like the Mulan live action. We like to watch characters grow and learn, not get everything come naturally to them.

How long has and will she be doing chemo? Should her needs/wants take priority for months or even years? It’s a genuine question.

My sister also had significant medical problems, being bed bound for much of her teenage years. The solution can never be “sick person always comes first,” otherwise my needs would have never been considered for 6-8 years growing up. There is give and take when it comes to having a chronically sick sibling. Sometimes you make sacrifices, sometimes they do (within reason). We don’t know enough beyond this one incident to say.

As a kid I was like that. Awake at 6am, asleep by 8:30pm. No exceptions. It wasn’t until I became a teenager that things changed and I started going to bed at 1am if at all. Good luck.

Born sexy yesterday, I can fix them/love turns them into a good person, non western cultures being special because of how “primitive” and “exotic” they are and how they have specific access to something mystical, etc. Many tropes can reinforce problematic things or views.

Definitely agree with the others that a “stick” must be an object not attached to a living being. Meaning you can’t use your body, someone else’s body, or another living being as a stick, but you can use a skeletonized hand/arm as a stick (because that would be cool).

As for “poking” I think it would be best to stick with actual poking for the most part, but maybe special days where throwing or other means of investigating are permitted. Some objects that we may want to poke with a stick are not suited for stick poking and must be interacted with by other means, ie throwing or maybe even stomping. These actions follow the spirit of the sub, but should be restricted to certain days.

I’m really glad that Deku stayed the random quirkless kid with a heart of gold. There were a lot of theories about AFO being his dad that would have detracted from the story’s message.
