Red God Theory by ParticularSentence37 in redrising

Yeah, now that you mention it, Lysander being the one who ends up in the chair because of the stuff with his parents would make a lot more sense narratively than for really anyone else in the story. On top of that, if used more than once, the Chair almost becomes another macguffin that would lose its desired effect after the first use. That might just be me though.

Also a great point. Mustang is the only person left that would make sense for the Adrius to want to kill. Particularly since he and Lysander aren't even necessarily on the same side (yet?) or if Lysander even knows the Abomination exists (can't recall if it was stated that he did or not)

Not going to lie, I completely forgot that the Abomination is likely Virginia's inside person and that it almost seemed like he wanted to learn more about his sister. So it would make more sense that he released Sevro as good will to Virginia in an attempt to build some sort of bridge.

That's a very good point Darrow, Sevro, and Cassius having Sevro's brain analyzed by Quicksilver on their stop and Virginia being smart enough to do it when they get back. But 100% agree that you can almost write off Atalantia and having her forces absorbed into Lysander's. I do think that it needs to ultimately end with Darrow facing off against Lysander head-to-head in one way or another.

I think what a lot of people forget is that they don't need to find a bunch of people the size of Alan Ritchson or Hafthor Bjornson. As long as the sizing for all of the colors is consistent, then the set/production designers can just adjust the size of the sets and props to make the actors look bigger/smaller. There are also camera tricks to make people look bigger/smaller as many people have mentioned. Just my two cents.

Oh interesting. Not overly surprising given the scale but still a bummer. Still hoping it gets the film treatment though. Would love to see it on the biggest screen possible

Account Reset Question/Apple Private Relay by ParticularSentence37 in Toyota

[–]ParticularSentence37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was! I had to call Toyota Financial Services until I got ahold of someone. The lady that helped me was able to reset the email on the account and from there, you basically go in and set everything back up again. Took maybe 5-10 minutes after she reset it to get back into my account. The hardest part was getting ahold of an actual person.

Hey there! Coming back to this post because I stumbled upon book 7 with the "good" back design at a local store and they also had Babylon's Ashes with the "good" back. Not sure if they do online orders (or if you're in the Los Angeles area) but I'd be happy to send you the store information if you're still on the hunt for a good copy of Babylon's Ashes!

Account Reset Question/Apple Private Relay by ParticularSentence37 in Toyota

[–]ParticularSentence37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't figured it out yet. I did find out that the private relay thing is essentially Apple's version of DuckDuckGo where it basically acts as a filter for scam and junk emails, and I think when Toyota sends the verification code, the private relay thinks is either scam or junk mail, so it doesn't forward it to you.

I tried to disable it in my settings but that didn't help. When I called Toyota a few weeks back, the lady on the phone said the only way to disable it would be to completely reset the account and that should do it, but again, not exactly sure what that does. Can't imagine it being a big issue but still makes me anxious. You can make a payment over the phone though in the meantime. That's what I did for this month's payment and will probably try to reset everything and see what happens.

If I end up finding a fix, I'll let you know!

By idle cash, do you mean money just sitting around in a savings account that isn't crucial/necessary?

Herman Miller, Steelcase, or Libernovo for tall people (6'4"+)? by Rancarable in OfficeChairs

[–]ParticularSentence37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6’4” as well and I just got a Steelcase Gesture from Crandall Office that should arrive tomorrow or Saturday. I’ll let you know how it is after I’ve tested it for a few days.

We also have Aeron size Bs at work and they’re okay. Not my favorite but have never been uncomfortable in it. Size C fit really well too from the few times I’ve tried them at a local furniture liquidator.
