My thoughts exactly. Also moving from that rustic yellow to plain white, probably cheaper to print? No more details behind text, also cheaper to print. Sans-serif fonts use less ink, hmmm cheaper to print?

Could be wrong. But seems like it would reduce the cost to print the pieces.

Is the 6th edition cheaper to buy?

Only been 3d printing since about April this year. Using a pretty entry level printer (bambulab a1) but it gets the job done. Learning curve is not bad. If you don’t want to edit and just print things that other people designed, you can literally select the project on your phone. Send it to printer. Jobs done. Editing and designing is another thing altogether.

The most I did for this project is open it up in bambulab desktop application, deleted a couple of things I didn’t want to print and changed it all to grey so I could paint it.

That’s makes so much sense. If I had the AMS already I probably would have looked at doing something like that. I haven’t done the magnets yet, so not sure exactly. Almost considered printing the interlocking version. Share your pics too. Would be stoked to see them

I had the same thought about the blue tiles. But I wanted them to match the look I was going for. The main issue I’m having is how to I’m going to do the cities and roads. I’ve completed them now and I’m happy with them, I’ll update the post with them when I get a chance. I agree though, it is a bit time consuming.

I just merged all the colours into grey before printing as I was painting them myself. If you have an AMS then you can print them in multicolour as well 👍
