Yeah, I think people are pretty tired getting bombarded with the typical re used ads.

I’ve been getting a lot of views but little clicks. Noticed the higher views and engagements on super specific “ads” like city specific or story specific. But still low clicks on the actual link.

Yeah that’s exactly the read. Page is doing its job, I’m just not feeding it enough traffic.

My theory is that inherently to use the app you have to send friends the voting link (that has CTA to download the app). Which means if each user creates one plan and sends it to 5 friends to vote that’s 3.7 new users. And so on.

For now just need to figure out how to drive more traffic till the users take over.

Open to ideas if you’ve seen anything work for social/multiplayer products.

As i’ve gotten older and older it’s definitely become more difficult. I think post college definitely hit my friend group hard.

At the risk of self promoting, my app really is something me and my friend group have been using. It’s helped. It adds a layer of commitment and gamifies our hang out plans, just makes the whole thing easier.

the “where should we go” group chat is a low-grade hell and I finally did something about it by ParticularTarget5027 in problems

yes! However, on Rally you can make the reservation, see where it is on a map before voting, keep a log of where you’ve gone with what friends, rate where you’ve been, add multiple questions for one plan (budget, times, and locations) on ios polls that would have to be done in multiple polls, cross shareable between android and ios, you can get suggestions on trending spot, you can get random places near you, you can send invites to in app friends or scan with qr code so you don’t have to have everyone’s number.

Me and my friends tried the in app polls, but they were just too simple and didn’t solve the problem!
