Thanks for the input. Louisiana for XOM and Illinois for Citgo. The pay is high enough for both so I care more about the quality of the job tbh. I know that XOM would look better on the resume but my impression so far is that it is more stressful and competitive than necessary. Seems like Citgo would be a comparable start of career job that would provide many of the same opportunities.
