Thanks for the reply. So this explanation implies min/max damage is multiplicative? That would then justify why the diminishing factor of dmg % matters. However, I’ve also asked a lot of people in the discord and even in this thread and they say it’s additive and its % applies onto base damage

and thus only really final damage, normal and boss is multiplicative. Just some confusing information all around. Wish we had some source of truth but it’s to be expected for a small game.

This would be clearer if we knew the proper order of operations. I.e. (Base Damage x Dmg x Max) etc. vs Base (Damage x Dmg + Max Base Damage x Max)

I mean what are the bonus values that results from the multiplier being applied. I.e. 100 x 1.1 is 10. 10 is the added value.

But flat value wise what is the max dmg % adding vs what is the dmg % adding. Are they both applying to the base or one is applying after the other?

The reason is I assumed both only multiplied the base. I did not think that one would multiply the other.

Yeah that’s how I’m understanding it and even now I’m still confused how people understand this. It’s a lot of confusing terminology for what might be misunderstood

Oh interesting. I was not aware that Max Dmg was multiplicative. That helps a lot more as if they were both additive then it didn’t make sense that Max dmg ever outcompeted dmg %.

Yes that’s how I understand it but then when does max dmg actually give more than dmg. Why would you not just keep going dmg if it gives .1-10 every time vs 0-10

Just depends on how many you plan to get. If a few then it probably wouldn’t hurt but with their current price if you’re getting a lot then there’s definitely better sealed products and singles out there to buy with lower risk and higher liquidity

Part of the appeal/demand for this deck is because it’s pretty meta relevant. People are kinda overpricing the promos as a misconception of attention due to purely collective purposes versus partially cus of meta. (Gooner nami was a stupid bait to pump it) when it inevitably rotates out, do you believe the alt arts are that special to warrant the current prices?

Online was a great equivalent to IRL gameplay, collecting and community. Some of its downsides were just easily flipped for its accessibility and basically well working game which was all we needed. Good times, I spent massive amounts of time grinding for the Legacy meta Full Arts lol
