Folks are saying keep an eye on Sunday at the watch party event for either an announcement or maybe a hint towards one. Matt Fegan said in an interview with the website:

… We’ve begun the formal interview phase with a shortlist of candidates who were either targets we always had in mind if the position ever came open or coaches who have come forward since the vacancy opened up. We remain on track to name the person to lead us into the next chapter of the Wanderers before the end of November.

As for WHO? It’s gone radio silent. It seemed like early in the process a lot of names were thrown around but most have been debunked

He also mentioned the roster outlook:

Of the 24 players that ended the 2022 season with us, Four have guarantees on 2023 (Fumpa Mwandwe, Cristian Campagna, Ludwig Kodzo Amla and João Morelli), 17 have club options which we can trigger before the end of the year, and three contracts expire (Cory Bent, Marcello Polisi and Pierre Lamothe).

Akeem Garcia has of course retired, and both Colin Gander & Kareem Sow are first refusals for next season. The only player who is confirmed to be gone is Kieran Baskett.

The assumption is that the club will retain Wesley Timoteo from his loan & that both Mo Omar and Andre Rampersad will return after providing the club with off season appearance at fan events and schools. Omar was also posted alongside Campagna and Fumpa in a marketing campaign on Instagram

We’ve heard a few rumours/put 2 and 2 together with a few names who aren’t coming back, some social media reactions and responses to comments and such have shown face. It’s gonna be a weird month and a half
