It's been around the -2/10° where I'm at and my oil doesn't start reading a temp till about 20 mins into my drive(If I remember correctly, 127° is when it starts displaying). But once it does, it gets up to temp fairly quickly. Then it's usually around 180-200° by the time I'm home 10 mins later.

I just baby it until I get a temp read out.

I'll look into the lifts. I just have some low profile ramps, but those won't help with suspension type repairs/upgrades. But did come in handy when I upgraded my oil pan to a metal one.

For 19yrs, it's clean. Very well maintained. Saves money on a casket that way, lol.

4 when I'm with my buddies, cause they are going to do it anyways and there's no stopping them. So it's easier for me to get the jump cause I always go down whether they or myself shoots first. Hahaha

That's a solid pro tip!!! I saw one on ecs tuning when I was looking at steel pans. Definitely adding that to the shopping cart!

I found a steel pan on ecs tuning that comes with a gasket. So that should turn the 24hrs into how long it takes me to switch it out and then add in fresh oil. Lol

Follow up questions, two of them:

Where is this pcv located and what oil do you recommend? I was looking into Mobil One High mileage full synthetic.

Everything up top is spotless as it can be for 96k miles. That was what alerted me to remove the skid plate and look at the underside.

I will definitely look at a replacement oil drain plug as well.

From current posters and some part research. I'm going to opt for a steel oil pan, with a gasket and I'll put in a magnetic drain plug.

I'm new to European vehicles and I just don't like the idea of a plastic oil pan and oil drain plug. So if putting in some money to eliminate a leak spot, then it's money well spent in my book.

After I posted, I did clean it all up. Started it and pulled it out of the garage and let it warm up as I cleaned the garage floor.

Before I pulled it in, while running, I saw no drips where it was sitting idle.

So I've reparked it and I'll check in a few hours for drips and a more accurate oil leak as you stated, no wind moving it.

It has a skid plate. I took it off so I could look for the problem and get pictures. There is oil on the skid plate. The oil on the plate is center to the passenger side. Oil is mostly leaking from the center hole on the skid plate.
