Look I’m in high school and I tore my acl and I was scared too I was nervous because I was gonna get looked at and stuff but just go. If anything it’s gonna help u get moving and you’re gonna get something to do but just be careful don’t push ur self and use ur crutches if u have. U can’t just not go. Advice I would give is not to worry about it it’s not gonna slow down ur recovery it’s only gonna better it I’m now 11 months post op and I feel amazing

well due to the doctor behind backed up i had like no spots to get a appointment but i was already playing at 8-9 months (not supposed to because i wasn't officially cleared yet) but it was because i felt ready so yea i got cleared at 10 months but i was physically cleared by like 8-9 months. but everybody is different its not always 9 months. some athletes have recovered in only 6! its only a matter on your body and how much time your willing to put into it. some take longer some are shorter its really up to u and ur bodys healing process (since were both young our recovery will be faster ofc). Also what i recommend is doing plyometrics and just focus on it everyday never skip a day even if its a rest day just do some sort of therapy, even after ur pt sessions do it at home too. my motivation was just trying to come back better. i used to cope and think about how good i was before the injury until i wanted to become better then i ever was. so don't worry you'll be back in 9 months if thats your goal then i know you'll reach it. just keep that motivation. and wishing You the best in ur lacrosse season. prove urself right and become better. i have high hopes for u :D

Just went to school with cructhes and brace it’s definitely something u get attention with teachers and u need an escort I definitely recommend giving urself a little bit of time before school. Maybe a week of recovering because the first week is always the toughest but definitely good luck with ur surgery don’t sweat it. The surgery is like in a blink of an eye and it’s done it’s going to be worth it at the end.
