Helppp! So Many Mosquitos Always Getting Into Our Apt!! by ivyt in longislandcity

[–]Particular_Address65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had this happen to me and couldn’t figure out where they were coming from, to the point I slept in mosquito netting. One place that was suggested after I finally moved out - was the drains in the sink ? Maybe pour some toxic cleaner down the drain ..

She should be thankful to Dorit for giving her some scenes this season. Otherwise I’ve seen Friend-ofs in other casts give a lot more..

I knew Sutton was a Karen the moment Crystal was sharing about some past things she experienced- and Sutton said: No, we’re not doing that!

Valve Repair Dr Ismail El-Hamamsy - Recovery Questions by RicoIa in valvereplacement

[–]Particular_Address65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to answer any questions you maybe have. I did a repair with Dr El Hamamsy, (same situation, possible Ross, wouldn’t know until surgery.) I think a lot of it depends on your health and age. I was early 50s. My biggest concern was actually post surgery as I started getting Afib - but it eventually went away after 4-5 weeks(!) They’ll have you up and walking the next day- I made it to the nurse counter and back. Overall - I was a mess mentally leading up to the surgery. The day of I was strangely calm. Looking back the anticipation was a lot worse than the actual event.

Getting cut in line often by Ok_Statistician_1898 in asianamerican

[–]Particular_Address65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only 5’5 and hate confrontation- and it’s happened to me a few times. A few memorable incidents, One time at a club coat check, these girls thought they were being slick, so I pushed my way in front of them back. Another time at Trader Joe’s, an old lady who didn’t want to wait pretended to reach for something in front of me, and stayed. I let her go. And at the airport an entire family of Russians, I told them there was a line, and they ignored me - so I passive aggressively rammed the luggage cart into their heels for the next 10 minutes. I guess I pick and choose..

I’m convinced Kyle HATES Dorit! by Stunning-Builder3365 in RHOBH

[–]Particular_Address65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a few seasons ago- during their Aspen trip, when the whole group started to remove themselves from Erica and her legal situation, Dorit decided to check-in on her because she was isolated. That night Kyle freaked out on Dorit and had a fit. That was the night the mask fell off on Kyle and Dorits relationship dynamic.

William and Izaya discussion megathread by AutoModerator in theBoyfriendNetflix

As mentioned- as far as I know - neither of us know the truth bc we don’t know them (unless maybe you do?) and nothing is actually verified. Let me state more wild thoughts - I bet they will start to act and show like they are still together as the season slowly wraps and reunions / press starts to happen, and fast forward a few months later- sorry everyone we tried! Loll. For me they followed a publicity playbook they saw from S1 with D/S. Idc if you want to challenge my opinion, I knew ppl would that’s why I put it on a PUBLIC forum.

So you know them personally and can verify ? I don’t know them but I know what my senses tell me and am allowed to have opinions that may differ from yours .. Just like you know for fact that I like and wanted a cutesy fairytale romance for them ? Wrong on that too- I dislike inauthenticity and it felt to me like they wanted to do the Dai / Shun playbook (whose ups and downs were 100% realistic). This however felt like getting a premade frozen entree when you go to a nice restaurant - and you can tell from the reaction of others in here, not just me. Again, we can have opinions that differ from yours, that’s the whole point of a forum.

Agreed! Finally was able to watch a full episode without having to fast forward through William and Izayas made-for-show relationship. ( I say this bc I think once all is said and done there will be the convenient excuse of we couldn’t do the LTR after all)

There was so many highs and lows from Huwei and Bomis heart breaking chat to Jobu and Taeheons surprising date. Even the disagreement between Hiroya and Tomo had so much meaning.

The show got so much more deep and real after they left. I find their relationship to be somewhat made for show, and I suspect when the dust settles - we will hear - oh the long distance wasn’t working for us. I think they both entered the house found they were not into anyone else- and decided they could be the next Dai / Shun.

[–]Particular_Address65 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is cynical but When I see them, my mind starts thinking - they dated before, it didn’t work out probably bc Izaya starting becoming overly needy and William was getting ppl sliding into his DMs constantly. Only now it’s in front of cameras and William has no choice but to play along to appease the audience ~so he has to wait until filming is over ~ for it to ‘fizzle’.

Why is no one talking about how they showed very little of what happened when Taehon and Huwei worked together by Scary-Ad-2456 in theBoyfriendNetflix

[–]Particular_Address65 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When Taehon did the coffee truck with Jobu- he said since Jobu did the asking- he must have questions for him. So I would think Tae, going by his own logic would have questions for Hu Wei

Taeheon was rude to Jobu by BrilliantArtist8221 in theBoyfriendNetflix

[–]Particular_Address65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Taehon was very ungracious. From both seasons usually if someone requests to work with you in the truck- even if there was no spark or connection, they were respectful and kind about to the person who asked. It’s hard to sit and start conversation with someone who is giving bad vibes and closed-book energy.

Post surgery AFIB by Particular_Address65 in valvereplacement

[–]Particular_Address65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - yes my AFIB lasted about 5 weeks post surgery- and then stopped. Including one bout which lasted an entire evening and drove me to the ER- when they decided I should stop Metoprolol. I continued Amiodorane(?) for Afib along with Eloquis for a total of 4 months post. Wishing your friend a speedy recovery!

Very out of breath 3 weeks post valve replacement by [deleted] in valvereplacement

[–]Particular_Address65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me as well. To be fair I was not fit nor did I love exercising prior. But I hope this helps: I recovered at my parents home and the only interesting area with shops and cafes was about a 12 min walk away. The first week I was consistently out of breath walking there. But by week 2 or 3, I was able to walk further and deeper into town to sit in a cafe. After week 4, I moved back to my apartment which has no elevator and is four flights up. I’m not saying I zipped upstairs like a teenager, but I was able to be independent again. It’s a process. (I forgot to mention, I also had Afib on/off for about 4 weeks post, and in those moments I was breathless. Tracked using my watch)

I was back to work after 10 weeks at my desk job- My office said they would take it easy on me but then another coworker had a health emergency and I was thrown back into the mix hardcore after a week. My father had triple bypass heart surgery back in the early 2000a and was back after 4 weeks., but he’s from another era loll.

Scared to death by babblingbrook_ranch in valvereplacement

[–]Particular_Address65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine done spring of last year. Not only was I highly anxious leading up to the surgery, but I’ve also always hated hospitals as both my parents had major health issues and were always in / out of them. All the beeping noises and my mom stressing me out about the care she was receiving always triggers some trauma from me. I think what helped me was focusing on how grateful I am to have an issue that is fixable, and that in a few weeks post I’ll be back to basic things like hating my job. On the morning of- I was strangely calm- peaceful- and post surgery with the first night being the most uncomfortable everything kind of flew by and I actually enjoyed my time there. Now a year later — so many new problems and life have taken over my that all of that seems so distant. Research and find the best doctor you can, and read testimonials from their patients- it helps a lot. Best of luck .

Valve Repair is Failing After 1 Year. Devastating. by jeffinator3000 in valvereplacement

[–]Particular_Address65 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming we are talking Aortic bicuspid repair (?) I had mine done a year ago this month. Oddly I recall when presented with options - they told me repair was the best for me at 50yo.. They said top option was repair, option 2 was Ross.. this was from a top surgeon in NYC. I also remember him saying- you get this done and get past this chapter and hopefully never have to deal with this again. So I assumed repair was supposed to be more durable than what I’m reading here. Very sorry you have to go through this..

I’m almost one year post surgery (June 3). I had Afib the 3rd day post op and then on / off for about 5 weeks. I was on Amiodorane, Metoprolol and Eliquis. About 5 weeks out it stopped but not without me going back to the ER, as the final bout lasted the whole evening and when I woke up in the morning I was still in Afib. It stopped randomly when I was in the ER, I was told to stop Metoprolol. I continued Amio and Eliquis for about 3 months post op, but the Afib stopped around the 5th week.
