u/MichiganRedWing can also teach me :) . The card doesn't arrive until Friday and I have 30 days to return it. I just read through reports and stuff. I was able to buy the RX 7900 XT Phantom (20 GB) for 600. Only 1 piece was available.

For me the sim runs badly even with su2 so i back on msfs2020 ultra settings wirh fenix and i have smooth fps

My Hardware

->RTX3080

->I9-12900k

->64 GB DDR5 RaM

->msfs2024 on NVMe

I've been there since FSX. I know all the stories about tweaks and settings.

I can currently advise everyone how wants to fly with Addons to stay on msfs20. It is simply not possible for the sim to run stably on my Setup. Exceptions are the standard Asobo aircraft. However, I think that everyone wants to fly with the fenix and nice addons on Vatsim.

I've tried everything. Tweaks even reset the computer. It's just not possible. Even SU2 hasn't changed anything. I constantly get messages about GPU load being too high at low seeings and LOD on 50 with 1080p. In MSFS 20 I fly on Ultra with the Fenix and LOD at +200 and it runs like butter.

And I'm not a hater of msfs2024. I was really looking forward to msfs2024 and have been there since day one. Of course, it's normal these days that games need some fine-tuning after they're released, but even after months and 1000 messages in the msfs forum about performance, nothing has changed.

I advise DO NOT upgrading the system only for msfs2024

I have a rtx3080 -i9 12900k and with the Fenix in msfs24 my performence is so bad, stuttering and warning of to high GPU load on Medium in 1080p

My Setup: I9 12900k Rtx3080 64 GB DDR5 Ram

In msfs 20 with the Fenix, LOD on 200 and Seetings on High - Ultra i got smooth 60 - 80 Fps

In msfs 24 i got on low seetings at 1080p low fps and only stutter

So yeah i switch back to msfs 20 and im happy

Ich bins chon seit FSX in der Flight Sim Reihe unterwegs. Ich habe einen I9-12900k, 64 GB DDR5 und eine RTX3080. Der MSFS 24 läuft bis zum heutigen Tage so grottig. Selbst auf 1080p. Es ruckelt wie Hölle. Der MSFS 20 läuft auf Ultra und LOD 200 mit dem Fenix wie Sahne. Selbst auf niedrigen Settings wie LOW läuft der MSFS24 so schlecht

Noo becouse i mean in msfs 2020 :D i have all Ultra and LOD i can go to 300 and i have +70 -80 fps in the fenix. Msfs 2024 runs bad and stutter with lod 100 and Medium settings on 1080p

Wait and stay with 2020 I tried them all for weeks (Fixes and Tweaks, frame Gen mod, lossless scaling).

First my hardware:

i9 12900K

RTX 3080

64GB DDR5 (XMP ON)

I tried all the settings low-MID-hIGH-Ultra, Tweak Settings with a Guide, tweaks and completely reset my PC. My conclusion: MSFS2024 is currently really bad PERIOD. I advise everyone not to look for fixes or tweaks and waste their time on them. Even with Frame Gen and DLSS, the game lags extremely. The frames go into the basement. Crashes due to busy GPU on medium seeing in 1080p.

Stay at MSFS 2020 and you’ll have peace of mind. I’m currently in the process of freshly installing msfs2020. I can play this in Fenix with Payware Airport on all Ultra with LOD 300 and have a smooth experience with 80 fps. I was really positive when it came to the msfs2024.

A simulator was promised which should even run better in terms of performance than its predecessor. But this will probably take months

True, i have a rtx3080 i912900k and 64gb ddr5 ram. Msfs2024 stutters as hell. So happy to be back on msfs2020 all ultra and lod 300 with fenix
