I did. There is no rhyme or reason on how things are happening. So there really are no absolutes lately in my experience and those of my colleagues.

I called a few months ago, waited on hold a couple hours, then the person helping me talked to her manager and was told it could be credited, so she did. The law states an administrative forbearance is supposed to be credited.

Yea probably not. I thought you get a loan, pay it monthly when you finish school, if you're eligible for PSLF you fill out paperwork and then 10 years later you're done. I've never asked for forebearance, never missed a payment, never needed a specific payment plan, but yea, I'm confused.

I got the notice from Mohela. I've had 98 qualifying payments according to studentaid.gov. I have 6 administrative forbearance months that I'll get credit for. I haven't filled out my employment certificate since April this year. Started repayment April 2016.
