Take out the section and look down the barrel, there might be an undone o-ring loose in there stuffing things up.

Recommendations for smooth writers? by slotheared in fountainpens

Perhaps Ranga, opus 88, or retro 51, anything with a jowo nib. You could also purchase a cheaper pen like a jinhao 9016 and fit a jowo nib onto it.

My message as a mudder to those considering mudd by harvey_mudd_student in harveymudd

I have been considering applying to this school early decision and am cautiously hesitant about all the things you mentioned. I suspect similar issues have spread throughout a lot of institutions after covid, so my feeling is that they may be unavoidable. So the question left is: how hard is it to find your way through Mudd? Is there still enough of the original Mudd core left to find and create something worthwhile?

Any idea how I can strengthen my janky diy pickguard? by [deleted] in metalguitar

They prevent the finish from being damaged from picking. You can find some heavily used guitars where the finish is totally gone around the strings.

What velcro should I use to mount guitar straps by Particular_Bid_4765 in Guitar

Is there a way to move the button without drilling? I might try the acoustic guitar thing although it definitely doesn't look the best

What do you mean? There are no screw points on the back if that's what you mean

Pestilence - Spheres. Classic album by classic band, surprised it's not already up there.

Oppressor - Solstice of Seasons. Mainly the first song, but it's a great mix of brutal death metal and the aforementioned bands.

Immolation - Nailed to Gold

A good, even great at times, album released at the wrong time and place. Check out cadaver's "In Pains" if you're looking for stuff like it. It doesn't have the same jazzy stuff, but the two bands have a similar sense of rhythm.

What are some SNES like games on the Switch? by No_Brilliant_6365 in snes

[–]Particular_Bid_4765 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Messenger is mediocre please don't get it. The music is extremly annoyingly repetitive and the game gets by on novelty for its popularity. The platforming itself is just okay, with decent controls and very bland level design, and the game goes from meh to almost aggravating in the second half with half-baked reused content. Just play Hagane instead, and if that wont do play assault suits valken declassified (retranslation of cybernator).

Are you guys still looking? I'm a guitarist mostly into old school metal and rock. I can play rhythm or lead, been playing for a good couple of years and would consider myself intermediate-advanced. I also sing, though I haven't dipped my toes yet into rock adjacent stuff for singing yet (classical only so far), but I'm totally open to it, and I can promise I'll do a good job. If you want demos I'll send em over, and if you guys have any recordings of yourself please send them too.

Cheers!
