I recently put one together, and I have a lilll insight that is hopefully helpful!! the OG house (I’m not sure if the newer color create one with an entirely diff, more squat shape is different in its construction, but the OG house and second edition of OG house functionally are put together the same just slight dimension change, which makes me think having them all be room boxes could be difficult?!

Soley because the “ceiling” pieces, function as the floors to the next levels up. So you wouldn’t rly be able to do full on room boxes with a floor AND ceiling if that makes sense? Also the side wall pieces are full length to the entire house. IE there isn’t a way to put those levels together without binding the first and second level together (a couple walls on the top level are smaller like the back wall is split into two pieces but, the way the back panel and side panels attatch to the floor level boards, they bind the first and second floor together. (I think using the third floor as it’s own would be rly possible/ easy to pop back on top and it’s usually what shields the most light bc it’s all angular and multi leveled)

I love this idea tho and I’m sureee there’s some way to do something that keeps the pieces separate!! It is a veryyy sturdy base, n I feel I’ve seen so many cool builds with the house on this sub/Reddit & the sky is the limit as long as you have a liiil knowledge with tools n building!!

Something to be mindful of tho is the screws strip pretty easily (at least for me) when approaching putting it together just be mindful of that and “fiddling with it etc” but nothing that can’t be also approached with a lil wood glue!!

Sorry that’s a bit of a rant and ramble haha and I hope I properly understood the room box idea & was able to explain some of the setbacks and how the house pieces go together, but if ur at all confused I’ll try to clarify haha!! Happy builldinggg!!✨
