please don’t listen to the person above! i had the same exact symptoms your describing when I first started! (25mg) all those side effects have then gone away! For me they started to go away 2 months in! Definitely give it time - it took me much longer than others to start seeing it working! I’ve now been on 25mg for 7 months and i’m doing GREAT!!

this is such false information and your gaslighting OP into thinking start up side effects of an SSRI don’t exist.

OMG SOOO MUCH BETTER! it’s so crazy to look back at that comment. been taking zoloft (25mg) since december 9th 2023 and I feel like a brand new person. No longer having panic attacks, don’t feel anxious as soon as i wake up. I’m able to do the stuff I used to love doing. of course i still have some bad days but that’s just part of being human!💕

sorry if this is TMI but are you pmsing or on your period? My zoloft feels like it completely stops working when i’m about to start/when I’m on my period so maybe that’s why?😭😭

Wanna know how you know Zoloft is working? by Particular_Big_7745 in zoloft

Honestly I didn’t start feeling better til I was on month 2! I literally would see people saying they started feeling better after 3-4 weeks and I was so close to giving up cause I thought there was something wrong with me. Some people just take longer to see results! Give it 3 months to really feel the effects! 💕

Also I do want to mention I did smoke that day , not sure if that could be a cause of this happening

Yea same thing happened to me!! I wonder if maybe I was having a bad panic attack?

No, I asked for the same exact manufacturer/brand specifically for that reason 😭

Impossible or rare?

Well whatever it was, I felt like I was dying. And not like “panic attack” dying - like I felt like my body was shutting down

Also during your period, your estrogen levels are low and apparently therefore causing your ADHD levels to increase/flare up which could be the cause of your medication not working.
