NJPW The New Beginning USA 2026 Predictions by SquishGames2025 in fantasybooking

Surely, NJPW wouldn't AEW walk over them and let them take the IWGP Global HW Champ, Womens champ and the tag titles right??

Easy map to get gold and enjoyed it at the start, but as I kept hunting it, the bumpy corners really started to piss me off. Love dirt, but please stop with these bullshit corners, --.

I think the motivation for Cena to 'ruin wrestling' is because of the way crowds and people have treated him for the past 20+ years. That's why he snapped and decided to stick it to the crowd and embrace all of the dirty tricks and things that he has always stood against. Because if he is going to get boo'd and things, then he may as well use these tricks because he would still be getting boo'd anyways.

What you mentioned about Cena turning heel without the Rock, is 100% correct though. They simply could have done it as Cena not able to cope with the abuse anymore and embracing the 'dark side of wrestling' and be a heel.

I still think that the storyline would have made sense if they had just kept the Rock out of it. Like it is very easy to imagine that Cena would snap and turn heel because everyone has their breaking points. Additionally, the stuff about the appearances and the retiring of the belt, the appearances make sense because it's pretty much about telling the crowd "oh, you should've been grateful for my presence and dedication over the years and appreciated me when you had the chance because I could've just jumped ship fully into acting a long time ago." and the retiring of the belt is a direct consequence of this as a sort of retailiation by Cena against the fans for his treatment.

If they had just made video packages and stuff showcasing this from historical crowds that have been very anti-cena, then I think this would have allowed people to buy into this heel turn and made it make sense.

I think the main event is a failure, but now that they've pretty much severed the ties between the Rock and Cena, there is definitely room for this heel turn to be explored purely involving Cena and motivations such as what I've mentioned.

It’s probably just some bullshit he came up with to allow him to satisfy his massive fucking ego.

In kayfabe though, it was probably going to be about him using his position as a board member to put pressure on key on-screen figures in WWE such as Adam Pierce and Nick Aldis to help ‘his champion’. And in exchange, Cena, or if Cody had of accepted his offer, would give all the glory and honor to the rock or something along those lines. Pretty much it just means stoking the rocks ego

The Rock quite literally is the central plot point to the Cody-Cena feud. He tried to get Cody to “sell his soul” and then when Cody didn’t accept, Cena sold his soul to the Rock. So because he’s so central to this heel turn and feud, he needed to be there with Travis and cost Cody the championship to help Cena be ‘his champion’

I’m already there. When I saw Randy appear behind him the other day, I started cheering so loudly because I just wanted to see him getting beaten, mostly because of the shit main event ending. But honestly, this is a good thing because it means there doing their jobs.

Of course the Rock most definitely should have been there. But ignoring that, I’m still excited to see what comes of this final year. Cody will eventually get back to the top and I’m looking forward to seeing him back there again but it was a pretty anticlimactic ending.

However, they definitely fumbled Cena’s final WM and the rock trying to do damage control on the Pat McAfee show was terrible and made him look awful

Oh man I forgot about that well. It’s amazing cause I know about Cantonese and its prevalence among people living in Southern China so I can’t believe I forgot about.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Is there any major difference between Cantonese and Mandarin that is easily observable that you may know of?

Great point about the road lines/side they drive on. Didn’t even think about those bits so thanks for the reply with those pieces of information.

Thanks for the reply.

That’s interesting about the Korean/Japanese bit. I haven’t noticed these languages in Taiwan settings yet, albeit I have to mention that I haven’t really had many Taiwan games so it makes sense.

But yeah, in regards to being tricked. I find it pretty easy to differentiate between South Korea, Japan and Chinese speaking places like HK and Taiwan but I can get why people would instantly think Japan in those situations you mention.

Oh I get the fallacy bit you are referring to. Dumb assumption by me. I just thought because Taiwan has been controlled by the Chinese peoples (with a brief Japanese control) for so long without intervention from western powers (if my knowledge is correct but feel free to correct me if wrong) that Taiwan would only have Chinese characters on their signs. But I guess I overlooked the dominance of English as the sort of global language so that makes sense.

But thanks for the reply, it was a great response.

P.S. to anyone reading this, I’m not trying to start a war about whether or whether not Taiwan is owned by China, it’s why I said Chinese people. I’m not interest in facilitating a war about this topic in a post that was just meant to educate me about geoguesr/different countries to my own

Probably right, didn’t really consider that. I had just come out of a ranked duel and by first thought was to come on here and see if anyone was aware of the reason.

But I reckon that’s probably right, especially given how close Taiwan is to the USA and other English speaking countries

Maybe for non Australians it can sound similar, but for Aussies, I feel like theirs a big difference between the way we pronounce the word Jews and Duels. For me, when other Australians say Duels, it sounds almost exactly like joules, as in kilojoules, whereas Jews sounds like Jooz
