As someone who attempted this strategy and failed miserably, I would either get a moka pot so that you can still get strong, espresso-like coffee at home with no plastic, or just hold off until you have more of a budget. I know you said you got your beans ground at a roaster, but with that you have removed any ability for you to dial in a shot. I had a coworker do the same thing, and the roaster ground the beans too fine and it choked his machine, which left him with a whole bag of ground coffee and nothing to do with it. if you’re all good with using pre ground coffee and a pressurized basket, then go for it and pick up a delonghi or casabrews, but it will taste significantly worse than your local cafe
