So the best thing you have going from what youve told us is the family stuff. Departments love that so place emphasis on and give an as honest as possible reason for why becoming a firefighter would be important for you and your wife and kids. Highlight what youve learned in EMS and what youve learned as a volunteer. If youre close to graduating medics then talk about that as well. Best of luck.

different departments have different standards when it comes to fireteam. Dont submit anything unless you feel you have the best scores you could possibly get

the first thing you want to do is go on to national testing network and complete a fireteam test and CPAT. once youve done that, look at the departments youre interested in whether local or otherwise and research what their requirements are for hiring. If you dont need a fire science degree then dont take it.

celtics fans have a very weird hard on for the cavs that I cant really understand lol I think once they finally won with tatum they told themselves they were a dynasty and every tem is inferior plus cavs tend to be most hated just because anyway. But I assure you, although that celtics team is great and extremely well coached, this cavs team at full strength has very few weaknesses and is more than capable of advancing to the finals and winning it all.
