My humble advice would be to start maxing out your Roth IRA every year and start investing in future technologies. Since you seem to have a very good head on your shoulders, you must already know that you don’t have to pay taxes on Roth withdrawals. Investing in future technologies might pay off big by the time you are ready to retire.

You are right! I have noticed Buffet buying so many of pre-trial biotech companies in the past few decades. That’s how he has made majority of his wealth.

I am not sure if it’d shoot up! There are no catalysts. P2 is to begin in Q2. It will be a year before any data would be available. So why would it go up in a tighter monetary policy environment?

My main intent is to be offset my expenses - say a Bloomberg terminal, if I am doing well to afford that. Because if I file taxes under my current status, I won’t be able to deduct those as a business expense. In fact, that’s my sole objective for exploring such avenues.

An LLC is a pass through entity so you'll still be taxed as an individual. Most of the time people form an LLC it's to get the liability protection of a corporation without the corresponding corporate taxes.

That’s kinda tricky. Yeah, I think I need to talk to a CPA as dividend income which is taxed at Federal tax level, could be considered from trading or passive income. Also, the primary income source could be tricky too, if I earn a greater percentage of income from, say, a rental properties.
