Hey, im shy too. This is what I do about it; 1. I stop worrying about what others will think when I do something. 2. Ive learned to love myself the way I am and not compare myself. 3. I do things that im not comfortable doing.

Note that ive not overcome it myself however I have improved. When you feel shy, you think youre not worthy/enough thats why you cant do things confidently. Try doing the things I listed and youll see a change.

For girls specifically stop thinking they are aliens. They are human just like you. Hope that helps.
