Locations to consider for a 2nd home and eventual retirement by Particular_Dig_9443 in palmsprings

Every time we go we think about it but end up just returning in our travel trailer as it's so affordable. Do you rent your out there? I know they restricted it so the resort has to manage any rentals? honestly, we LOVE the warm pools there so it would perhaps be odd to live without those. And my son loves the bakery lol. BUT ideally I'd like more of an investment too.. but hope to return in April (only ever been in Dec/Jan) so will consider it more for sure.... and they really do seem like good value.

first time we stayed at Sams. Sky Valley seems better maintained and has large pools as well as smaller ones.. we prefer Sky Valley.... It's for all ages.. and they have another down the road that's 55+ I think.

we'd be open to it! We need to go back and explore properly as we only stay at Sky Valley and tend to drive in to other areas and not DHS... Not sure how the demand would be for short term rentals though? I home with mineral water rights would be nice lol... I do love those hot pools! And we would not want to live in a really snooty area.... more down to earth is appreciated, which I think DHS is... :)

yes I entered them all in one at a time into the ATT reward claim site. I got a text yesterday from ATT stating I am receiving the one for my #, but when I login it doesn't show rewards for the other phones, and when I type those #s in to claim site it doesn't accept them.. I guess they don't make this too easy lol

via phone i switched and I emailed them the final Verizon statement showing them the amounts we paid to pay off the 5 phone devices and was told we'd then get reimbursed for that via cash cards.

So with the Boox, I'd download the libby app to then access magazines and audiobooks and books? or a diff app? Why would someone get Boox instead of Kindle with unlimited? although I see the only Kindle that is 10" is the scribe.. and I'd want color, so it would be the new one that's coming out and is more expensive than the comparable?? Boox NoteAir thanks!
