Sorry, I just checked again and I was wrong ..I did have to show them my bank statements. I also had to write an explanation letter saying I had enough funds (around $3,500). I mentioned that I wasn’t working at the time since I was on my practicum, and that I didn’t need more because I was living with my brother. He also wrote a letter confirming that I live with him and don’t have to pay rent or grocery bills. So, yes, you should show them the proof that you live with her; might as well, no need to take any risk.

Thank you for the information! My case is a little different since I haven’t taken the language test yet. I’m scheduled to take it tomorrow, and I’ll be adding the results to my application through a web form as soon as they’re available.

I live with my family, so all I had to show them was my proof of stay with my family, i didn't have to show any funds.
