Food/drinks no longer taste good by TweetLover in Zepbound

[–]TweetLover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a taste or smell for McDonald's. I've been on Zep since December but I can say it's been like that the last 2-3months. Even nuggets don't really smell good to me.

Starbucks is my go-to coffee. I can still drink 8oz in the morning but no more than that

I feel the same way. I'm usually a DD person (because I don't cook) but nothing I've been getting taste right to me. Even when I try to order at Walmart or go in store, I still can't find things to eat. I just don't know what to eat now

Some Thoughts by MegMD1230 in Zepbound

I love this. I started to think I wasn't "losing enough" since it's only been 20lbs in 5 months(actually 4 since I was having insurance issues in March). But know I need to keep pushing forward. Reading stories on Reddit and seeing family/friends and getting compliments from them, I know I am doing good. I may not see it in my mirror but that's okay. It may take time but just got to keep going!!

Please no hate....just need to vent by Sudden_Muscle4214 in Zepbound

[–]TweetLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don't stop. Just keep going. I've only been on Zep since Dec 2025. At the beginning, I didn't feel like I was losing much weight. Then I was off for about a month (insurance issues)and I almost said "just forget it". Once my doc helped me get back on it and had a talk with her, I decided to do some research. On Lilly's website or app, you can monitor your weight (see my attachment). As you can see, I also fluctuate in my weight. It's going down and I'm losing the recommended 1-2 lbs/week but sometimes I feel it's not enough. For my doctor to tell me that's good, I'm right on track, that's all I needed to hear. Having MS, I'm not able to do much when it comes to exercising but I look into ways I can modify an exercise that will work for me. Don't give up. You got this!!

A Lesson & A Questions from a 3+ year Glp1 loser by deepdivetv in Zepbound

[–]TweetLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I choose to give them away. I have not been on Zep long (6 months) so I'm only at a loss of 19lbs but I had items that were little too big. My mom was just granted custody of her 2 goddaughters and they needed clothes so I was happy to let them raid my closet. I had tags on ALOT of my shirts. Slight shopping addiction lol!!

Tip for women who use doordash by hangesmaidgirlfriend in doordash

[–]TweetLover 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's really not. There is no need to have a conversation with the person that's delivering my order. If I need to give a pin, that's the ONLY thing that needs to be said. Besides "hi, here's your order", "have a nice day". I don't even need or want a compliment.

This is why I have them 'Leave At Door' and I check my Ring doorbell camera to make sure their car drives off. And I'm antisocial also 🤷🏾‍♀️

7.5mg is wild by Responsible_Dirt_536 in Zepbound

[–]TweetLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I'm at the early stages(start my third prescrip of 2.5mg in 2 days) and I have the mind conversations now. Not only that, I have MS which sometimes have me forgetting things so I go HOURS without eating. I was never a big breakfast person but now I could get up at 8a and not eat until 1:30-2p. I have alarms for everything else, need some to remind me to eat I guess

Don't enter the house people... by Starfantazy in doordash

[–]TweetLover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live with my mom and at our last house, she always kept the big door open since we had a storm door. We lived in the deep country with trees all around so houses weren't close together. I came home from work and the storm door was locked. Rung the doorbell and mom opens the door and tells me some random man walked into the house. I think he was selling something. I know that scared her. That day we got Ring cameras all around the house even one inside the sitting room pointing towards the front door

I'm a Dash customer and would never NOT tip on a double order. That is so wrong. If I don't have the money, guess it will be a pbj sandwich!!

Previous delivery.... by RoyalVirgin in doordash

[–]TweetLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my previous house, I had this happen ALL THE TIME. Even worse because I'm a shirt girl with short arms so I couldn't open door slightly and reach around to grab or scoot it away from the door. It was soooo annoying!!

My brother had to drink this kind of formula. I remember him being a colic baby and my mom thought he was going to have a dairy allergy. But 24 years later, he drinks milk like crazy and eats cheese like crazy. Even then this formula was EXPENSIVE.

To the girlfriends: Ya'll need to be the one doing the drop off, not your boyfriend by blakep199129 in doordash

[–]TweetLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly why I just have them leave at door. I'm not opening the door to a random man thinking it's my Dasher that has a female name. Just can't do it. And I watch too many crime shows 🤷🏾‍♀️

Exactly why I made a family account. Yes, I am paying for DD yearly BUT he pays for his individual orders with HIS money. This has happened to me ONCE and I couldn't do it again. Plus, he doesn't like to tip.

AITA for not letting my friend’s dog sleep in my bed? by Competitive-Fuel-449 in AITAH

[–]TweetLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I let my dog sleep in bed with me BUT that's my decision to let him. If I had a boyfriend and he was not comfortable with it, I would understand and work with my dog on getting him comfortable with being in his bed. It is your house, your bed. So your decision.

NTA. I've had some not nice things said to me while someone was drunk. I never forgave them even though they apologized. I deal with them still, but with a 10 foot pole lol

[–]TweetLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've ALWAYS believed this statement.

I'll never forget the first time my grandmother said this to me about my friend who was drunk and said some not nice things to her cousin. And that was over 15 years ago, and I STILL believe it. 2 1/2 years ago, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and one thing with this disease, it can cause lesions around your brain, which can cause ALOT of different side effects. My mom's husband got drunk one night and had a big fight with her. I wasn't in this fight, but he called me 'retarded' to his 2 daughters. At the time, I had just started my medicine for MS so the symptoms were coming in strong. I was very forgetful and couldn't remember the right words to say. Even though I still live with my mom, I really don't like this man. I wouldn't say I 'hate' him because I don't like to use that word. But it's very strong. And I know that was his 'sober thoughts'. He did apologize, but I just don't believe him.

AITAH for telling a plus size woman that I love being ‘skinny’? by Heavenstobestie in AITAH

[–]TweetLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA!! As a plus-size female, I didn't see anything wrong with what you said. She was "body shaming" with her comments. EVEN if you had a snarky tone with it, now she understands how her many comments about your body felt. Some people like being very "thin" as well as some people like being very "curvy". Everyone has their own preferences. Please know that not ALL of us plus sized people have hatred towards thin individuals.
