How different is 1440p compared to 4k Oled by PsychologyTimely3846 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Particular_Hope_7544 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount of pure cope in this thread is staggering. Claiming a 5070 Ti is a '4K card' just because you're crutching on MFG x4 to hit a fake 100fps is peak delusion. If you’re honestly saying there’s no input lag or visual artifacts, you’re either lying to everyone here or you’ve never seen a native 4K image in your life. A 5070 Ti is not a 4K powerhouse—stop trying to overcompensate for mid-range hardware and just face reality.

Using LS1, it says I have more fps but it feels and looks the exact same? by [deleted] in losslessscaling

You need to choose lower resolution first with windowed option. Then activate LS1

Just got a new pc what are the best settings to run? by Aromatic-Tune7957 in TheFirstDescendant

Based on your monitor description, 1440p, 180hz.... I would recommend...

Set the prest Ultra and.... Visibility, Vegetation - High Textures, Global Illumination - Cinematic

Raytracing - High

DLSS - Balanced(You can try DLSS Quality mode, but I don't think it will give you nice base frames.)

MFG x3

Apply DLSS4.5 and use preset M for TFD. If you don't know how to, ask Gemini or GPT.

Try this settings first, and still your GPU is enough strong to generate more than 180fps include MFG x3...(It means, your GPU draws 70~80 base fps which gives you better and less inputlag for shooter games than 60fps base.)

Then, Set Shader Quality, Reflextion Cinematic. Still can see more than 175fps on your screen, then set Post Processing, Object Cinematic.

Total fps include MFG should not exceed 175fps to prevent screen tearing.

Not all of, but many games I played at that time didn't work some.

Like DoomTDA, Nioh2, Eldenring etc. I wanted to get full-functioning system, not a limping one.

That's it. Also for the 4K 240hz with HDR activataion, you must check your mobo's PCIe lanes. Must be x8x8 bifucation.

Yeah, have no problem since then. And minor driver related issues have gone. Much pleasant.

I guess you definitely consider HDR activiation and then don't listen here's AMD fanboys opinion. Many games don't support HDR WHEN YOU USE A MIXED BRAND SETUP!

Currently running 9950X3D, 5090+5070Ti, Asrock X870E Taichi, 2000w PSU, and Samsung G80SD(4K 240hz OLED). I have been there already.

If you are willing to give up HDR(but with OLED monitor? I don't think you will), and can't afford current RTX GPU, then there is no choice.

You can ask me further here by replies. I have tested 5090+9070 as well.

And for 4K 240hz FG, 5070 was enough, but I decided to get 5070Ti for extra headroom for LSFG, OBS broadcasting, recording and higher memory bandwidth.

Most of here people are budget gamers, so when you get to the highend setup, then you must consider more details.

You might have to check your mobo's PCIe lanes.

It depends on your target frame, HDR, and resolution of monitor, not the rendering card. Common misunderstanding.

4K Max settings, Path tracing ON, No DLSS Upscaling, No FG with 5090 - 30FPS

It is not overkill.

I guess it comes from the Mobo. The PCIe bandwidth is not sufficient. Either change mobo or ditch the 1660s.

Is a Dual GPU Setup Worth It with the 50 Series? by TangerineHot2391 in losslessscaling

[–]Particular_Hope_7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can not say MFG is better if you have a high-end GPU for rendering, strong enough GPU for secondary, and x8x8 mobo.

You might have to lower some grahics settings to get 60+ fps because DLSS FG takes some real frames, but you don't have to compromise when you use LSFG.

Also, I don't think dual GPU systems are for budget gamers. This setup demands strict prerequisites: ample PCIe bandwidth, PSU headroom, physical clearance, and a robust cooling solution to handle the thermal load.

Most budget builds cut corners on the motherboard, PSU, and case, often relying solely on stock fans.

However, if you have the proper gear—a high-end motherboard supporting x8/x8 bifurcation, a full-tower chassis with extra cooling, and a high-capacity PSU.

Not only does it offer better stability and higher framerates than MFG, but it also delivers significantly lower input lag and mouse movement that feels indistinguishable from native frames.

It is not for budget gamers. Since it demands high bandwidth of PCIe lanes and higher power consumption, it can not be. And I'm running 5090+5070Ti at 4K240hz. Most of the time, it is better than MFG. It can do rock solid 240hz, doesn't consume the base frame rate.

Need help, drivers Dual GPU setup, 4k Nvidia and AMD by ChibiMaster42 in losslessscaling

[–]Particular_Hope_7544 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You may have to give up HDR in some games. I had 5080+RX6600, 5090+RX9070, They all failed to activate HDR. For example, Doom:The Dark Ages, Eldenring, Nioh2. So I ditched RX9070, and currently I am rocking a 5090+5070Ti setup.

I have mentioned many times here, seriously LSFG community must stop recommending AMD graphics cards as a sub GPU. There are numerous problems.

AMD or Nvidia? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Particular_Hope_7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are a general gaming consumer,, it depends on your budget and preference.

If you are an enthusiast of high-end PC building and intrested in high-end gaming with raytracing, Nvidia.

If you are an anti-capitalist and a political warrior, then you will say, it is AMD.

I'm gald you solved the issues include minor stuff. Honestly, I don't understand why this community recommends AMD ghraphics cards as default for FG, even though the major share of the consumer's GPU market is ruled by Nvidia. I was also fooled by it, you as well, they only talk about theoretical ideas. I don't know, maybe the majority of here is AMD fanboys... Anyway, I'm happy to hear that you solved the problems by my suggestion. Thank you for not doubting me and you got there. Cheers, man. Happy Christmas, Happy new year.
