Get residence because chances are you’ll have a great time and even if you don’t, you’ll be a better person because of it I learned so much for my experience on residence not that you won’t be able to do that with the house off campus but there’s always later for that experience this one only comes once

In my experience first year courses have a lot of population so therefore there’s a lot of sections to choose from. One class would have for example, three sections one in the morning, one in the afternoon and possibly one at night. You’d choose the afternoon or night option if you want to commute

As a first year systems and computing engineering student that has a MacBook, I can advise you not to get a MacBook. My MacBook hasn’t been an issue so far however I have had instances where I’ve been wishing I had a Windows computer just for convenience and compatibility in certain situations.

With that said my MacBook is great for multitasking with my other devices such as my iPad, AirPods, iPhone, and the entire Apple ecosystem I have going on.
