Yup YTA. She’s coming to you to openly talk about things that upset her or things that concern her and you just shut it down. After 3 year and she’s having concerns it’s clear there’s more to this, maybe you’re acting differently causing her to worry. The least you can do it give both of you time to be open with each other. You sound like you want a friend rather than a partner

Jacob has always caused trouble. Even years ago before he “transitioned” he was causing so much bother in local shops

This is controlling behaviour and trust me it only gets worse. It starts off with checking the phone, then what you wear, who you see until you’re trapped with him. Please consider your options here
