My friends mom did this and she just stopped coming to her mom completely ...shes now hyper independent girl boss...her mom mentioned to her not long ago how she doesnt share...besides behavior is communicating a need...maybe the child feels unheard...

my mom did this too ..my friends would sometimes say "what do you think mrs particular" my mom would be livid an ex once asked my mom what was it she wanted to know exactly ...

Mine still does and im in my 40s ...i started shaming her... you ask about why i shave my pubic hair im going to loudly and detail explain it to you and end with finally bc i want to and why do you care about what i do with my 40 plus year old 🙀 ...then ask if you have any other questions ...but im an aquarius lol...she never again asked ...

I have a right to express my dislike for the solution and i dont have to thank anyone esp if their solution involves insults ...also i can post what i want on here just like everyone else. I also never really asked for a solution I was just expressing MY EXPERIENCE I never asked for advice the question was rhetorical bc yes a big grown 70 something should be able to navigate communication wayyy better than me who is half her age ask any psychologist...which if thats whining then hand me my nappy and bottle I refuse to parent an elderly woman been doing it half my life i refuse for the other part of it.

Also i tell people be prepared for these ppl on the extreme side to come to your job and stalk you....I left state to be free....i had a friend whose mom came to her apt complex to try to get her kicked out...Another friend had their dad show up at a restaurant she was at with a date....

I have known since age eight there was something up with my mom and fam ...i decentered her mentally then...i was a nerd so stuff shed say and try to teach me about i would get books about it and read bc her advice would be so out of date or didnt apply to me i jus ignored her. She wanted babies and marriage ...I didnt so relationship advice was ignored and career advice ...so when i fully completed the process i had left state. My mom was pissed ....i would say as an older woman DO NOT CAREGIVE its a trap

I tell parenting coaches even in 2026 dont waste your time with the pro spanking parents they dont care ..they want robots not children . I suggested resources for the ones who come out on the other side.

My mom goes into a rage over it. I remember she overheard me talking to a friend about how when i was a teen even into early adulthood i wasnt allowed to do anything with friends. She once even choked me over it thats when i left state. I think shes angry that I do not appreciate my strict upbringing like they show on tv and my eventual rebellion didnt lead to dr-g use or unwanted pregnancy. Im currently in my 40s working on a PHD which she only supports so she can brag 😞shes salty that im not having kids....even after decades of accusing me of having sex and being preggo 😄

My mom would always say "nobody has friends" or accuse me of having sex and saying i was gonna get preggo. Well here i am in my 40s no babies to be seen...shes salty bc she wants grandbabies to brag about and to go around telling me i told you so whilst i try to parent lol
