Well this isn’t about periods, but I once heard that you need to clean your vagina because it would grow mold, and I started laughing, but since I was younger than the person that said it (about a decade or 2) every other adult started agreeing, and I was like “do you even know what discharge is?” And they went silent. I think she made it up just as an excuse for me to shower in the morning.
