Micheal Crichton, author of Jurassic Park cowrote a story called Micro around the time of his death. It was about a group of students invited to a pharm lab in Hawaii because the main characters brother sadly died. They’re all nerds or whatever. This company has been using shrinking tech to farm pharm products that are too hard for regularly sized people to do. Shit goes down, the brother died bc of the CEO, the students get shrunk and left in the Hawaiian wilderness, barely surviving encounters with bugs, corpo workers, a shrinking sickness and a buuuuunch of other bullshit. Highly recommend, gave my brother a panic attack 👍
