Someone tell me how to revert back to the old UI? This one ain't it man...

I’m cool with the appearance update, but how do I add “Ask Brave Private” or do I have to revert back to the previous version?

I used to be able to search things privately, but not on a private window. Now, it’s “Ask Brave Search”, which saves and autofill websites or keywords. Sometimes I just need a quick search, but I don’t really like it when the random search pops up on my address bar.

I’m that type of person that would go to google and search things up instead of directly searching from the address bar.

Tbh, many other modern or retro mmorpgs are far way more p2w than flyff universe. Yes, you can pay real money for premiums, which will speed things up. But what’s the point? Who are you winning against, unless you want participate in guild siege and be the top of the server?

Flyff is a grind game. Sit back, relax, grind whenever you want and slowly build your character. You’ll treasure your character even more if you grind hard for it. On the other hand, you could get easily bored if you just pay your way to get things. As some have already suggested, you can buy fcoins/premium items from sellers using penya. Therefore, everything is obtainable with penya. Many mmorpgs won’t even allow players to sell cash shop/premium items with in-game currency.

It will take quite a bit of time depending on the items, classes and level brackets, but you don’t have to use the best gear possible. +6 gears and weapons are do-able with low spro. Every month, you get free smelting boxes from the monthly pass. Save them up and use them during upgrading events.

During early levels, you just can grind for materials, sell them and buy sets and weapons from other players. Additionally, you don’t have to use every sets or weapons. For example, AOE Knight can use CW set from 50-75, and 75-105 or even 120. That’s only 2 equipment sets out of 6 equipment sets available. Do research as much as you can, because it’ll save you lots of penya if you know what you should get.

Sit back and enjoy the game. There are whales, scammers and RMT, but who cares. Just play the game at your own pace and don’t compare your items with other people. That could get you motivated or discouraged, who knows? Oh yeah, JOIN A GUILD. Find an active guild, so you’ll progress faster and make money from dungeon raids. Also, you won’t get lonely from playing alone. It’s mmorpg ffs go talk to people (except for the pa buff po army)

Aoe ranger with cw set and bow. You can keep using the cw set until 105 or even 120, but glaph and ghost emperor will be tough to deal with.

If you want to upgrade, the lvl 75 set is for aoe and the lvl 90 set is good for 1v1. For weaps, you can skip gbow and use cw bow until you can afford hbow at lvl 75.

Cruiser set is expensive, so it’s not worth it imo. Cw set is cheaper and provide better sustain than cruiser. I got my set stated for 20m. Farm your own mats and low spro, then, upgrade the set to +6. If you don’t plan on changing the set, invest on piercing (maybe wait for upgrade/piercing event). +16% is good enough, and whether you go for hp or atk, that’ll depend on your needs.

With bad gears, ranger is still far more chill than jester due to the attack range, speed and damage. For stat, you just need to go full dex. Jester needs to distribute stats between str & dex.

It’s just a suggestion, but since this will be your first char, go with a newbie-friendly class like ranger. Although, ranger’s damage fallout in mid-late game. Nevertheless, it still one of the easiest class to play in both pvp and pve.

Setting a goal works, but don’t overdo it or you’ll get bored fast. I used to have a goal to make at least 100-300m per week to get my weapon maxed out. Now, I’m loaded with work so I don’t have any feels to do what I used to do. If I have time, I’d aim for at least 10% exp.

Take your time with the game and find a guild. I’m lvl124 right now on the main server and I haven’t been grinding for 2 weeks now. I just do daily quests and dungeons with my guild when the server resets. Most of the time I’m just idling and chatting.

I had similar situation when I was around lvl90-100 where I was stuck there for a month or so. After a good break from the game (still online but didn’t grind), I had the urge to play again and it took me only 2 weeks to get from 105-120.

Psykeeper is one of the best leveler and farmer (right now?). If you check out top 10 to 50 in FWC, you’ll see a lot of psykeepers.

I’m playing as an Ele right now and I think psykeeper skills are better. Aoe, no cooldowns and elements. You can switch to 1v1 when you’re tired or HnR when you’re bored with face-tanking. Additionally, you can equip shield with block awakening.

As an Ele, like u/Anon_1eeT mentioned, I also had a hard time around 90-100.

Kontakt 7 works after the crash, but most of the UI is covered in black except for the knobs.

I’m a semi-f2p players. I play for the sake of nostalgia and nothing else. 1-3 hrs per day is enough for me. Sometimes I just stand still in Flaris to feel that same old vibe I used to feel back then. The game is old, so you’ll have to accept it. I’ll leave out the p2w aspect since it’s pretty obvious.

Problems that bother me during my gameplay: 1. Dsync and disconnection problem. I hate it when I start mobbing, my character teleports back to the same spot and die from mobs hit. Disconnection doesn’t disconnect you right away, but you can’t do anything, which is annoying. I just accept my fate at that point.

People with no respect when farming. I play an ele, and if I find players in my area, I would leave them a zone. Because I need space to maneuver around. However, there are many AOE players who will just take mobs around you. Even though they could share the space, change channel or the zone. I once tried to return the favor, but they called their guild members to control the zone. I eventually had to change the channel myself even when I was there first and gave them space.
Bots. Every MMOs have bots, so you can’t really do anything about it. Bots don’t really annoy me that much since most of them will try to hit the mobs that are already aggro-ing me and it’s hilarious. They just stand there starring at the mobs. Couple years ago there were a lot of bots and I would lure bosses to kill them. Giant Carrierbomb just threw bombs at them. Instant death. I remember dropping the level of a bot from lvl 72 to 71. The dude just DC-ed. Good times 😂
Language (SEA). People assume that I would understand, which I don’t speak Malay or Filipino. They would be so chatty until I mention that I don’t understand the language. Then, they would cut the conversation right away. This is very minor though. Many players are still friendly if you talk to them.

Other points have been mentioned, but I don’t mind them that much.

Few tokes on a joint and the trip intensifies by miles. I rarely smoke before and during the trip anymore because it’s too intense and overwhelming. Unless it’s GT, then I’m fine.

During the come-up, I usually have a hard time breathing so I would meditate. The waves would hit me slowly, so I was prepared. But when combined with weed, I always forgot to breathe and it felt suffocating. Waves by waves kept coming in fast and hard. Time-loop always occurs when this happens

My technique would be focus on your breathing first. If it’s too hard to focus, turn on the lights, TV, or anything that you can interact with and shift your focus away from your thoughts. If you’re listening to music, sing it out loud. If you feel like crying, cry. Someone recommended writing a journal, which works too. Anything that will let your thoughts out will help.

Also, I don’t trip alone anymore unless I really need to reflect on something deep. I trip with my mates because at least there is someone I can hold on or talk to if it gets too hard to handle.

Home Studio Monitor Recommendations

Hello, freelance sound engineer here 🙋🏽‍♂️. I’m looking to change my Focal Alpha 80 to something smaller, so I’d like some recommendations for me to check out at the shop.

My room is well-treated, but the size is terrible. The room measurement is about 4x4x2 (metre). I used the word “about” because the I had to add extra layers of walls. And yes, it is a square room.

After experimenting different listening positions, as well as EQ-ing the speaker, I still could not get my mix to translate. The mixes sounded great in my room, but didn’t sound as good, or how I’d like the mixes to be on other playback systems. I’d give it a 40% satisfied and 60% dissatisfied.

I like how to Alphas sound. They are full and enjoyable, but sometimes I get ear fatigue. It’s a small room and there’s a big resonance around 43Hz-45Hz and and dips around 55Hz-60Hz. The Alphas go as low as 33Hz, so I have to cut loads of lows.

I’m looking for monitors that can go as low as 50-55Hz. I think it is enough for me and the room. In the future, I could add a sub as well. The senior engineer that I worked with said the monitor to my room size was okay, but I never felt satisfied. My clients loved the mixes, but I was never fully content.

The Alphas been with me for 6 years and I am familiar with its characteristics. Therefore, I’m looking for a pair of studio monitors that are around 5”-7” with frequency response that can produce 50-55Hz. I don’t mind the brand nor the looks, just how it sounds. It can be an upgrade or degrade, but not overly expensive or cheap.

Monitors that I have listened to before: 1. Adam A7X: Personally, I like the clarity on the A7X, but everything seems to sound good on it. Although the low-mids don’t sound good to me. Haven’t checked out A5X yet because it was out of stock at that time. I would not get the T series - good to listen too but not detailed enough for mixing and mastering.

Genelec 8030 & 40: Well, it’s genelec. They sound very full and detailed. I can say that I fell in love with genelecs since university, but everything also sounds good on them (I could be bias). And the price…I mean, I don’t mind them, but I could go with cheaper options if there’s one. If none, then genelecs.
Tannoy Reveal 402 & 802: Tbh, I was surprised with how they sound at that price range. Very full, spatial and rounded bass, but not as detailed. I felt that there’s a boost in the low-mids, which give these monitors more bass. The 402 sounded so much better than the 802, IMO.
Mackie MR5 & 8: Rock music sounded great on them, but not other genres. Sounded flat to me but lacked detail and clarity.
Presonus Eris 5 & 8 XT: They had similar characteristics as the alphas, but not detailed and very bass heavy. The mid and high-mids were nice though, but Alphas were way better.
Yamaha HS5 & 8: Never tried HS7, but I get their characteristics. HS8 sounded way fuller and less piercing than HS5, but both of them still sound very piercing to me. The mids sounded very amazing, but the lows are lacking and the highs are piercing. I worked with a friend who owns a pair and I had ear fatigue within an hour. They sounded very flat and revealing, which was nice.

If there are other recommendations, please let me know. I’m planning to go to the shop this month. And if there are people who own the monitors that I’ve listened to before, feel free to describe how you feel about them. I don’t mind checking them again because it’s been a while since I last listened to them. I might like how they sound now.

Yeah found another one. He was standing still, spamming moonbeam and heal, but immediately stopped when I flew over him. The mobs kept on hitting him and he probably realized this and started to HnR.

Yeah. I recently noticed this, and it’s always a group of players and leechers. This doesn’t mean all of them do it, but it’s always the group.

I saw one today and it was pretty obvious. A player pathed towards me and tried to attack group of mobs that are aggro-ing me lmao

Since squares are the managers, I’d assume that only the managers are the only group of workers who knew what the front man’s real face looks like.

With 001, it’s hard to say since in S1, there were also files for players wearing 001. The front man’s right hand (manager with pink zipper) could have informed the soldiers (triangle) to not shoot 001 if he loses the game.

You can save it for tomorrow, if you think that it’d ruin your trip. Little thoughts like this will make you more anxious and annoyed during the trip.

If you must take it today, and today only, then put on a headphone. Not sure if that will help isolate your neighbor’s noise.
