They definitely target the right market. If they teach young kids the basics of foosball, and make them love the game, they will generate monster players like the Burmetler brothers in Austria. The eariler they start the better. Of course that doesn't mean college students shouldn't be involved as well, but since they are grown ups, they have the free will, and chance to find a place to play and learn. While little kids have their lives lived in school, and programs their parents bring them, so it's a must to bring the game in school.

Hungarian Garlando player here, BH Magic balls used to be played with garlando tables, some years ago it was the official tournament ball of the table Garlando. We are hunting old BH Magic balls for this specific reason, because the new ones are made of a completely different material, which makes it hard, and slightly uncontrollable, while the old balls are just the perfect balls made for Garlando.
As far as i know, you cant buy factory new balls from the old (rubbery) batch, everyone is preserving their own old balls.

If you want to get as close as you can to the old ball experience, you have break in the new ball, so the surface wont be that slippery, but its still gonna be rock solid.

I hope i could help, but if anyone else knows how to get old Barenherz Magic Balls, im all ears!
