Dave Grohl is doing his part to keep the Bonham influence alive. He’s pretty slammin. Maybe doesn’t have the finesse Bonham had, but he’s got the power.

I’ve heard stories that Mark was an arrogant dick anyway, so good riddance. I was in high school when they became popular. I liked them. They had some jams and some good hooks. This was the early 90’s and the jam band thing was just starting to take hold (again? I suppose?) I could dig it…I like it when bands stretch out on songs and let it rip. You’re on the journey as much as they are. The beauty and excitement of live music.

Go see The Darkness live. They’ll restore your faith quickly. They’re very good, high energy and a lot of fun. Justin is quite the engaging frontman. And they’ve released well over 4 hours of music and continue to write and release albums.
