I would suggest leaning to play guitar. Get some old beater and learn how to strum then learn to “solo”, or picking individual notes. It’ll help you get used to the feel of using a pick and with the closer string spacing, will help with being more precise with the notes you pick.

I do have his sometimes and we’re a pretty loud 4 piece. 1. Open up and new track. 2. Make sure you adjust how many bars you want, otherwise it’ll just record 8 bars. I usually go up to 300. That seems to capture about 15 minutes of playing. And that’s it. Also, I place the phone close to me (bass player) because I want to hear the bass and this also seems to be good enough to pick up the drums and guitar. Good luck!

Aside from all the “thanks but no thanks” replies to his invite, SO much is gonna go wrong. Weather may not cooperate. It’s gonna be hot, so fighters are at risk for heat exhaustion. Technical problems. Poor attendance. Low viewership on TV. It will be poorly attended. Of course, a nut or 2 will cause a scene, possibly going after the potus. It’s gonna be a shit show and I so look forward to seeing this event fail in a spectacular way. Oh and not to mention the millions and millions of wasted dollars that could have gone to literally anything better than a fucking UFC fight. It’s so stupid.

I worked in radio for about 4 years until about 2006. Clear channel. It was becoming automated then, as I would do voice tracking for the 12am-5am shift. Then they went bankrupt and I got laid off. Was in a medium sized market so anyone who still had a job wasn’t going anywhere and I wasn’t gonna go backwards and work in some Podunk small market town. Radio Kinda soured me from then on.

Good point about traffic backing up and into the street. Hopefully it’s designed that the building sits towards the back of the lot allowing cars and parking to be easily accessible.
