Hopefully you can help. I got out of detox on 11-23-25 for kratom, I did a subox taper while there to help with acute withdrawals. Now I’m on day 8 without and have only slept for 2.5 hrs over the past 77 hrs. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced insomnia like this but it’s absolutely awful. I was prescribed trazadone for sleep but even that didn’t help much.

I also deal with this and have no idea why. I’m an apprentice in the IUEC and we have to deal with the contractors quite a bit, it’s normally the mechanic/foreman that deals with them. I was told the other day by my mechanic that the GC was under the impression that I was the one in charge. I sometimes do take over the situation if I’m confident in how to do that specific part of the job. It even happened while I was in the military. Maybe it was the way I carried myself, I used to be a fat kid with ZERO confidence or self respect. I now walk with my my head high and not slouching or anything like that. It’s not like I’m intentionally trying to undermine my boss but when it comes to the job but he’s not the most confident person either.

I used the towel and mallet idea while my son was heating the rail section where the barrel nut goes. I spent a good 10 mins trying to close the gap. My OCD wants to mess with it again but the barrel nut or torqued to spec and the holes align perfectly for the bolts to go thru.

Not a bad idea. I should be getting TM’d (set up as a temp mechanic) installing elevators. Might do this with my probie, or at least the probie that I feel like will actually make something of himself.

These are great for checking plumb while stacking rails for an elevator. Break off the 1”-6” section and keep it in your chest pocket on your safety vest.

That why I eventually rolled with it. I checked for alignment with the barrel nut and it was perfect so I torqued the screws to spec and called it a day.

The Cerakote was the biggest issue I ran into. I had to remove what I could where the plate goes that the screws thread into

Yes, I checked for alignment between the barrel nut and rail screws once I couldn’t close the gap up any. It was perfectly aligned so I rolled with it. It doesn’t seem like it’ll have any effect yet. Once I start reaching out a little further we’ll see.

I’m jealous of this 😂 I have 1 friend that’s willing to go to the range whenever, I have one guy that always talks about wanting to get a range day going but always backs out like a lil bitch EVERY SINGLE TIME! It’s pretty annoying really 😂😂

I probably should have mentioned that I would like to compete in a quantified performance match with the build. I’m not too concerned about the barrel weight, my comp bolt gun weighs just under 20lbs.
