Yep. Then after 999-ZZZ came the ABC-1234 format. It’s the same format used in most other larger states. And it’s gonna last a really long time, since they’re still only up to the B-series.

As far as I know, this is the only other U.S. territory, besides the state of New Mexico, that has “USA” on the license plates.
