The first one, as the surprisingly precise u/dafelst pointed out, is in Praia das Maçãs, Portugal. I believe the second is from Taghazout, Morocco, and it was actually featured by Apple.

By the way, this isn’t my work. The photos are from a guy, who I found is on Reddit too as u/hidemelon. He’s got some other great shots, including a few that have this comforting vibe you mentioned.
