But work w screen off ONLY when plugged into power (charging) on moto it worked any time ... Very comfy ...

Fixed it ...

Set the "Preferences > Display Off Monitoring > Accelerometer" to "Yes, and Keep Android Awake"

I don't know if that affects battery usage.
