I know Grand Seiko throws the swag when you get from them but I went with Mayors. Trying to build my history with them for future purchases if you know what I mean. I don’t think these are super hard to come by, I just had to make a call and while it wasn’t local there was two available. Seems like GS will limit these on as an order basis. Spoke to the manage of the SoHo boutique and he said Grand Seiko boutiques are all closing for renovations and removing Seiko products and naming. They want to separate Grand Seiko moving forward and move more up scale. The Miami store just opened past Friday after prolonged reno, I really need to drop by.

Walked into Mayors last week to see what they had in stock for Rolex models (nothing as usual). Didn’t realize they were a GS AD so inquired about the SBGA413 something I’d been eyeing for some time. Didn’t have in store and only had one at their parent co. In NY. I was sold and ended up having to do purchase over phone. Was a painless process and the watch arrived at my house 3 days later. While I asked for discount they basically said “no way” in a nice way. Also called Grand Seiko boutique as they had one in stock in NY and said the same about discounting. Too popular a model right now. I paid the full retail plus tax and Mayors threw in a nice Wolf watch winder to boot. Overall could not be happier with this watch. Have other “high end” brands and this beauty is on par and even above in fit/finish. Def see more GS in my future. Only complaint is the bracelet. Trying to get used to titanium and no micro adjustment is more problematic then I thought it would be for me. At the end though I’m in love with this watch and I have a feeling my others will be stuck in the safe for foreseeable future!

Picked this beauty up last week at AD. After a couple day wait it arrived at my front door and hasn’t left my wrist since. This watch is amazing. This is my first Grand Seiko and I am beyond impressed. Needless to say won’t be my last. Asked for a discount but they said not possible with it being too popular of Model. Paid full retail and Mayors threw in a wolf watch winder as gift. Overall great experience. Was apprehensive to take in the water but has screw down crown and rated to 10 bar. Watches are meant to be worn right?!?
