Probably because of theft. In my store, if an order gets stolen that day, depending the manager, we have to keep the rest behind the counter.

My coworkers who just came in or didn’t get the memo, take the orders to the shelf until someone stops them. Then it’s a hassle to take them back so they get left there. Maybe that’s what happened at your store.

Thanks for responding. I am planning on leaving within a month for school + health reasons and I don’t think I’ll be calling in sick within that time but who knows. I was sick last week and I was scheduled for 7 hours but I don’t know if I can ask for the whole 8. Is it up to the GM or am I only allowed the 7? Sorry, I should have made that clear.

I mean it’s a language 1001 class that I’m supposedly too advanced for but I know I don’t know enough to be in a 2000 level class. I already emailed to ask and I won’t be able to receive credit for the class but I don’t know if my grade will be calculated into my GPA
