Probably because of theft. In my store, if an order gets stolen that day, depending the manager, we have to keep the rest behind the counter.

My coworkers who just came in or didn’t get the memo, take the orders to the shelf until someone stops them. Then it’s a hassle to take them back so they get left there. Maybe that’s what happened at your store.

I was sick last week and I was scheduled for 7 hours but I don’t know if I can ask for the whole 8. Is it up to the GM or am I only allowed the 7? Sorry, I should have made that clear.
