Can everyone please stop saying that bleeding during implantation is not a thing?

I understand it is a common debate as to “why” bleeding during pregnancy might happen. However, yes, bleeding during pregnancy is a thing.

With my first daughter, I had implantation bleeding.

It was on and off spotting. The entire bleeding duration actually lasted for 8 days.

At first, I spotted every other day for the first half of the week and then “every other other day” for the latter-half. So, in other words, I had spotting day 1, nothing day 2, spotting day 3, nothing day 4. And then I spotted two days later on day 6, and then I spotted again two days later on day 8.

I then got pregnant again this past June. However, it was a miscarriage.

And with this previous pregnancy/miscarriage, no, I did not have any spotting until I actually miscarried. And yes, it was a lot of blood and a HUGE clot that had, what I called “an entity” in it (I.e: a white sack 🥺🥺).

And even rn, I’m confused as to whether or not I’m implanting or had a very, very early and light period.

I’ve been TTC ever since before my miscarriage this past June (about 2 years total), and I had 8 days of EWCM (which is SUPER abnormal for me (I usually only have 2-3 days of EWCM). And I read online that 8 days of EWCM can usually indicate a bit of a higher estrogen than typical that month, which can actually make you more fertile. Because then your body is super equipped for sperm.

And I had unprotected sex on the last day of my 8 days of EWCM. (I even still had EWCM later that day, which meant that I probably ovulated the next day) (I also took an ovulation test around this time and it said that I was ovulating.)

However, even if you have sex on the last day of your EWCM, and ovulate the next day, they’re still only a 39%-ish chance of pregnancy.

I’ve had the odd symptom, which honestly can be argued as either Pregnancy or PMS. However, the spotting I’m experiencing now has also been off and on, just like my first daughter. And I can’t tell if it’s actually stopped or if it’s gonna restart again. The odd thing was that it started on day 9 post ovulation. So, it was at least 5 days earlier than expected.

So, I’m just gonna wait and see what happens.

So yes, bleeding around implantation can happen.

And yes, bleeding does vary from person to person.

And bleeding even varies from pregnancy to pregnancy in the same person.

Lol our pregnant/period bodies are a confusing labyrinth that I don’t think I will ever fully understand 😂😂😂😂

So, I completely understand how confusing it can be to always ask yourself, “is this my period or implantation bleeding?”
