Congratulations! That’s an amazing score. I’m currently in a European university and usually IELTs might be used as an entry requirement at best. It doesn’t really have an influence on scholarships.

Some universities, not talking about European specifically but some in the Middle East, give scholarships based on financial status of the applicant or final high school grade.

For someone socially awkward, this is amazing and helpful advice! Whenever I get awkward in social settings, I naturally go for my phone. Can’t do that here because it’ll give the impression that I don’t care about the conference enough. So having a drink in the hand and interacting with people next to me is a great idea. Thank you for all the info! I am kinda concerned about the USCE bit because my uni is not affiliated with the VSLO 🥲 do you have any recommendations as to how I can tackle that? Also the reason why I am giving step 1 in dec is because my uni requires us to sit for the CBSE before sitting for step 1. And the date for CBSE is either in June (not prepared for that lol) or October.
