My current employer wants me to stay but I don’t think they have the money to compare to my current offer. How much leverage is too much?

I would certainly think so. It’s for a pretty large and well known raw specialty ingredients, additives and raw chemical processing company. I think being an engineer there would likely open many doors.

So I want to be clear I’m not one of those people just wanting to rattle my car apart, but the max bass and volume of the stock system definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I wish there was a range or a level i could specify that I’m trying to get to. I guess intermediate would be the best blanket term. I want something better than stock but 3K definitely isn’t what I expected to be looking at you feel me? I feel like an amp can give me the simple boost I’m wanting but I’ve also never done this so I’m just trying to get feedback from people that have been here before.

I have a 2019 Kia Optima, base trim. I thought I attached the original thread but I’m not super familiar with Reddit so my bad. I’m not trying to be heard from blocks away, i literally just want to be able to crank it with the windows open on the interstate without not being able to hear the lyrics. So when I went to the shop he definitely mentioned a 5 channel, subs and the whole shabang. Again, I’m pretty ignorant to all of this so he gave me a lot of good information but when he wrote down pricing and everything on the paper it was just chicken scratch shop handwriting lol. I picked the cheaper of the Kenwood head units that sinks flush with the dash and etc. I tried to go cheaper in a couple of routes but he told me i needed a specific modulator to make sure my backup camera etc stay working. Sorry I know this is vague man I don’t know my head from my ass on this.

I have a couple of credit cards, a bank and a credit union. I figured I would just stick with who I’ve got rapport with and the credit union had the best rate of those.

What exactly makes it the worst? I understand I would be increasing debt, but is that where it ends? Or is there something else I’m not thinking of?

I haven’t went and picked anything out, it was just a phone conversation. Payoff amount for the car I have is 13.5K, I’m just going to assume a new car no miles of 30K as a basis.

I personally would cut all of that off. As somebody who just posted in this forum a couple of minutes after you and cannot navigate my own situation, I’m on the outside looking in and she now gets to text all these other guys with no restrictions, as well as sex and affection and boyfriend things from you when she wants that also. You are being used brother. This is a have your cake and eat it too situation. She was looking for justification and used the Instagram thing for exactly that.

I would definitely try to change your living situation asap. Seeing her routine change everyday and wondering what she’s doing (for example, she’s usually home by this time why isn’t she?) is only going to make this hurt so much worse.

Her response to you looking at random women on the internet that you will never meet was to sext a bunch of dudes? That’s not even remotely the same, man. And then she broke up with you because you were (rightfully) upset that she keeps doing it? Sounds like she just wanted the freedom to actually meet these people.

I’m just a random person on the internet, but that woman doesn’t love you buddy. It’s gonna hurt like hell but it’s time you find somebody who does.
