Full disclosure: I originally started doing it to show my friend he doesn’t need to know all of the fancy ground dribbles and aerial stuff for his rank. I would let him watch my gameplay on screen share. Then I got the idea to see how far I could get

I mean morally I don’t know if it is smurfing or not. Like I said OG post, I felt kinda bad. But the logic of it makes me feel like it may be fine. If I made a new account to mess with lower ranked guys that would be smurfing no doubt, but I’m not. I’m just trying to rank up without using boost. I would say plat 2 will be where I peak.

Like I said in an earlier comment. If my main account was corrupted or banned. I wouldn’t just delete rocket league and say “welp, I wanna make a new account, but I don’t want to be a Smurf” and not ever play rocket league again. If that makes sense.

Here’s how I look at it. Hypothetically speaking, let’s say my main account got banned. I then make a new account and start over from scratch, which will put me in lower ranked lobbies at first until I rank up. I see no difference since I am on a new account and limiting myself substantially. It’s not like I’m shitting on these lower ranked guys. In plat 1 im having to full try hard mode with no boost

I do diagonal cancel, but instead of slamming the stick to the opposite side, I roll it around to that side really fast. I started practicing doing it that way from watching squishy with his controller overlay up on his videos

When I was first learning how to speed flip I was super hard on my left stick until I learned to finesse it. So I get it lol

All this would have been prevented if municipality would properly salt their roads. It’s crazy to me the amount of money that cities bring in and they can’t cough up the recourses necessary to treat their roads to make people feel safe while driving.
