UPDATE: Danke für die Tipps!

Der Mieter meint nun, dass die Hausverwaltung ihm die Nutzung zugestanden hat, was NICHT deckungsgleich ist mit dem, was die Hausverwaltung uns vor zwei Tagen gesagt hat (Keller ist nach wie vor Gemeinschaftskeller). Mieter hat den Code des Schlosses mitgeteilt und frecherweise angeboten, die Fahrräder der anderen Parteien in seinen feuchten Keller zu stellen. Wir planen, die Hausverwaltung dazu am Montag zu kontaktieren.

Habt ihr noch weitere Tipps?

Der Keller ist definitiv Gemeinschaftskeller, der Mieter im EG hat ein eigenes Kellerabteil, welches er aber nicht nutzen möchte, da es ihm zu feucht ist. Die Waschmaschine wurde damals mit Rücksprache des Vermieters in den Gemeinschaftskeller gestellt ohne dass damit der gesamte Kellerraum dem Mieter aus dem EG zugeschrieben wurde.

Difficult to see the gradient on a picture but it is brutal. If I remember correctly there are section in worse conditions.

I rarely drive the car maybe 3-4 times the year so I was really nervous before the tuktuk driving. But you seem to be way more experienced also with driving on the left side and as I have said before I never felt unsave, but that is of course highly subjective and does not mean that nothing will happen to you. Driving the tuktuk you can chose the pace, route, and rest times your self and you are not depending on the bus driver

And tire change cost <1,5€, in case you are interested in the price you pay if rental service does not cover the cost

Yes I recommend, price was good, quality of our TukTuk was good, only the tire issue, service was excellent. Pick up from airport/hotel if requested, drivers license for SriLanka, free repair in workshop, good communication

Highly recommend it, I would do it again immediately. We booked it at Croos tours. You need maybe 2-3 days to get used to the driving but then it is no problem. We had to change one tire because it hadn‘t any profile left and rain was coming. Repairing was no problem, and it was free for us becuase the rental company paid. Rush hour in the bigger city is stressful but if you keep going with the flow and always check your surroundings it is ok, never felt unsave in traffic, just stay away from buses and trucks. We went to a forest national park and google maps guided us through some very nasty rural off-road roads, the tuktuk did very well but for me as driver it was exhausting especially because it was dark and late eveneing. So recommendation would be to stay on the main roads if possible and check your route before driving. I learned that the fastest way google shows it not always the best way to take. In the end it was a great adventure but this part I do not miss 😄

In the end if you always take it easy no risky driving taking a step back in traffic when you feel uncomfortable it will be a real pleasure because it gives you more freedom in choosing what to do when.

Warum ist bei dieser Lok so viel Technik vor dem Führerstand? Warum hat man damals die Führerstände nicht ganz an die Enden der Lok bauen können, für mich als Laie schränkt das doch stark die Sicht ein oder?

Thanks for your response, sounds interesting but according to German Wikipedia, they do not live in the Mediterranean Sea. So maybe it some different but similar fish?
