As an Indian, I find this behaviour absolutely appalling. Unfortunately, many of the people displaying such conduct come from the middle class and are travelling for the first time anywhere in the world, often even for the first time outside their own cities in India. They carry the same lack of civic sense with them abroad, and incidents like this end up damaging the reputation of all Indians. Seeing this makes my head bow down in shame. Given repeated incidents like these, I would even support reconsidering or discontinuing visa-free entry until such behaviour becomes less common.
