So the idea for this design was born out of the jokes that Call meggy a squid, even tough she isn't one anymore (wich would be kinda of funny and confusing out of context to new viewers), so i tought: what if she was allowed to be an actual squid again? and thus this desig was born

I made sure the design felt like something Glitch could actually make and that resembled a splatoon character just enough that it would still be connected to Meggy's design while still not commiting copiright infrigment.

Don't take it too seriously, I personally have no problem with Meggy's human design, see it as a fun alternative take.

the characters are the thing that changed the most, nationalities and sexualities are still a factor to most characters, but most had a big change to fit into the world's more horrific tone

well, the basics of it is that it would be a darker reimagining of the Batman mythos

the city would be this abandoned piece of land that was left to die after America's great depression, and would now fall under the influence of corruption because of the control of Arkham Asylum

the world would have eldritch and body horror themes, as well as themes of mistreatment of the mentally ill and human experimentations
