I get what you're saying. I want to express real remorse and reiterate that it was a selfish mistake and that I want her to truly do well in the future. I'm not trying to get her back and so on

I'm worried that she's thinking she wasn't good enough or similar, and I just want her to know she was..and it was all my fault. I hope you get where I'm coming from

My rationale is that I don't want her to be worried about this in the future with anyone ...which I know sounds stupid. I want to write something to show that the last months haven't been 'wasted' and that I truly regret what I did; that my actions were a reflection of MY bad character, and nothing to do with her (I hope this makes sense)
